But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. James 1:6 (NKJV)
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony. By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible. By faith Abel offered to God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, through which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts; and through it he being dead still speaks. By faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, "and was not found, because God had taken him"; for before he was taken he had this testimony, that he pleased God. But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
Heb 11:1-6 (NKJV)
Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Faith is something or someone, that you put trust or hope in. Something that you can't see. Like heaven, we know it's there, but we can't see it until we die. But it still exists, and God still exists, even if we can't actually see Him.
The timeless question of atheists is "Can God make a rock so big that He can't move it?" The answer is yes, He could if He wanted to; but He is omniscient, and would not subject Himself to things that He could not do. If he did make a rock so big that He couldn't move it, He wouldn't be all powerful, because
He couldn't move a rock.
People that ask foolish questions like this, have no idea of the awesome power and majesty of the God we serve. They have no faith in Him. We should be out there, actively working to see them born again.
Does God know all things?
Can I trust Him with my life? He created me, and died for me, so why shouldn't I trust Him?
Why shouldn't I put my faith in Him to control my life? Why shouldn't I tell others of my faith in Him?
