Well, I hope so… 8.15.09

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.

1 John 1:9-10 (NKJV)

We should not hope that we are saved and have a place reserved in heaven for us, we can know for sure. If we confess our sins, He will forgive us. Isn't that wonderful? We don't have to wonder whether we are. If we have truly asked the Lord to come into our heart and to be Lord of our life, then there isn't a prospect or a likelihood of our being saved; once we are saved, we're saved. That's the end of it. No man can pluck us out of the Father's hand.

For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ

Phil 3:20 (NKJV)

For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39 (NKJV)

Have I put my full faith and confidence in Christ for my salvation?
