Joshua 21 How Faithful God Is

Joshua 21- How Faithful God Is

And the LORD gave unto Israel all the land which he sware to give unto their fathers; and they possessed it, and dwelt therein. And the LORD gave them rest round about, according to all that he sware unto their fathers: and there stood not a man of all their enemies before them; the LORD delivered all their enemies into their hand. There failed not ought of any good thing which the LORD had spoken unto the house of Israel; all came to pass.
Joshua 21:43-45

God had been so faithful to the nation of Israel, in multiplying their numbers, driving their enemies out of the Promised Land, and giving them a land of their own. He didn't like to see His children go astray, yet time and time again, Israel chose to serve the false gods of other nations. Now, God wasn't surprised by this; He knew that they would rebel and seek their own way, but He wanted them to have a free choice. He could have easily just made robots. (Now some robots can think for themselves to a certain extent). But He wanted to see His people to come and know Him. He wanted them to choose life or death, freedom or slavery. But, through all this rebellion, God did not leave His people.

Am I faithful to God, just like He's been faithful to me?

Do I want to seek my own way more than I want God's way?
